Thermal Imaging

We use thermal imaging surveys as a preventative maintenance technique to accurately identify defects in mechanical and electrical systems. Excess heat is often a sign of failure, so our ability to detect and document hot spots in the incipient stages of degeneration can be combined with timely, effective repairs to reduce potential safety hazards.

Conditions detectable by thermographic inspections:

  • Loose/deteriorated connections
  • Overloads
  • Open circuits
  • Unbalanced loads
  • Inductive heating
  • Harmonics
  • Defective equipment
